Report To: Deputy Finance Controller
- To monitor and control the activity of the Treasury operations.
- Manages Treasury back -office operations and risk management by monitoring and reviewing periodical reports relating to utilisation of risk limits, FEX profitability and positions exception reports.
- Monitoring and controlling key operational and financial controls.
- Enhance operational effectiveness and contribute to the development and performance of the department.
- Liaise closely with Financial Controller / Deputy Financial Controller when implementing new product, procedures and returns
- Co-ordinate the preparation and monitor the implementation of strategic/operating plan.
- Ensures full compliance with local regulations, audit recommendations and other relevant guidelines and procedures.
- Implementation of Group office and regulatory returns.
- Review audit recommendations ensure data and internal auditors recommendations regarding Treasury Operations are properly adhered
- Should possess accounting knowledge supported by a MBA /MCOM. Qualification from any professional accounting body is an added advantage
- At least 5 years relevant banking experience
- Highly developed reasoning skills to solve a wide range of problems.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- He/she will also require knowledge of Treasury products and controls.
- Able to think strategically and focused on delivery.
- Detailed knowledge of HUB operations.
- High computer literacy.
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

Supervisor, Treasury Operations- Financial Control Department
Report To: Assistant Manager Finance - Treasury Operations
- Ensure relevant requirements of FIM, local regulatory and auditors requirements are complied with by taking corrective action where necessary
- Ensure timely deal settlement and checking of the currency position.
- Monitor work, guide and counsel subordinates, identify and connect lapses.
- Analyze/review and submit accurate GM Financial Statements/reports on time to GHO/HHO/Central Bank and local management.
- Enhance operational effectiveness by liaising with GM Front Office/IT/HUB to co-ordinate support and resolve HUB and other operational issues.
- Assist GM Front Office in preparing financial data for the strategic and Annual Operating Plan and monitor performance against plan target
- Review the internal/external and local regulatory audit reports and recommendations to ensure complete implementation.
- Check the individual market risks such as Net Open Position, Foreign Exchange, Interest risk mismatch, DSL, VAR etc.
- Collect data from HUB Balance sheet
- Prefebably Graduate in Business Studies from any well recognize institution
- Detailed knowledge of HUB operations
- PC literate
- Knowledge of Swift message
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Assistant Officer, Treasury Operations- Financial Control Department
Report To: Assistant Manager Finance - Treasury Operations
- Money market, Treasury Bill and Forex Deal Processing.
- Market Risk Analysis, Monitor and report daily CRR & SLR for Management.
- Monitor Net Open Position, P&L and Interest Risk Mismatch position with the HUB report.
- Prepare and submit various Head Office treasury returns.
- Prepare Money Market, Forex and other Treasury Related Returns for Central Reporting
- Input daily exchange rate sheet, Libor/Sibor, COF/VOF, T-Bill rates for both HSBC and HSBO in different tenor.
- Input, Prepare vouchers and register day to day treasury Operation activities.
- Monitor and review limit of other counterparts, and ensure payments are made and receive in due time.
- Day to day other funcitions in FCD i.e. Voucher input
- Prefebably Graduate in Business Studies from any well recognize institution
- Detailed knowledge of HUB operations

- Determine whether there is reasonable evidence of money laundering or terrorism funding in retail account activities.
- Review Daily alerts and address any violations to determine the cause.
- Review the Monthly basis CAMP generated alerts. The Alerts are an aggregation of daily, monthly violations and manual suspicions.
- Liaise with MLRO on a regular basis
- Liaise and inform Branches on alerts/suspicious customer transactions.
- Back-up of Support segment.
- Preferably Graduate from any well recognised institution.
- Minimum 1 year experience with the Bank.
- Excellent knowledge of HUB is essential.
- Good PC literacy.
