•     Technology support for product quality standard maintaining
•     Complete daily work according to APC production schedule
•     Prepare various types of production report
•     Co-ordination with Design, Textile, Order, Quality and other Department.

Educational and Other Qualifications:

•     Diploma in Textile  from any recognized institution with no third division
•     Concept of textile & raw-materials
•     Experience in relevant field will be an added advantage.

Age limit: 18-26 yrs

Quality Product Developer

•     Candidate should be a graduate in Fashion Design from a renowned design institute.
•     Should have about 4-6 years experience in doing range development for leading European retailers.
•     Candidate should be able to do trend analysis from leading international fashion forecasts.
•     Develop a coordinated collection involving multiple product groups.
•     Exposure to design software and experience in product groups covering knits, wovens, denims is important.

Printing Technologist

•     Candidate should be a graduate with preferably a degree/ diploma in Textile Chemistry.
•     Should have about 7-9 years experience in placement printing of apparel with some leading printing factories.
•     Candidate should have thorough knowledge of various printing techniques.
•     Should be able to liaise with the technicians and designers in Europe as well as with the printing factories to develop new techniques and achieve desired printing results in production.
•     Position requires good understanding of restricted substances and ability to trouble shoot and work out solutions with the factories.

Quality Executive (Woven bottoms/ tops)

•     Candidate should be a graduate.
•     7-8 years work experience of which 2-3 years should be in similar capacity at a reputed buying house.
•     Should have experience in monitoring production in the factories from sampling to pre-production, in-line and final inspections.
•     Should have sound technical knowledge and should be able to liaise with buyer and factories on all sampling/ production related areas.

Computer proficiency and effective communication skills in English are essential.

Position – Garment Technologist

Purpose
To manage garments for a category from a designated set of suppliers’ factories, starting from design concept to the stage where the garment is ready for production.development processes are of the highest quality so that the right product is delivered at the right price on time.

Key Responsibilities

•     Evaluating and ensuring that all products are fitted, sealed, tested and approved so they meet Tesco’s quality, performance, safety and legal requirements
•     Implementing Tesco quality systems at every stage of product development
•     Doing risk assessment for all new products to identify potential legal or safety issues and define controls to manage them
•     Participating in buying trip meetings to assess products and to provide technical inputs
•     Inducting suppliers on Tesco’s sampling requirements, testing and quality standards
•     Communicating potential issues with new suppliers or any issues relating to garments to the Production Technologist team
•     Resolving issues / queries with the country buying teams and suppliers
•     Providing support to the team members of Technical Department

Requirements

•     University graduate, preferably in garment manufacturing or textile technology
•     At least 5 years’ relevant work experience in buying office or manufacturing environment
•     Proven experience in evaluating and fitting products against specifications at design or product development stage
•     Excellent communication skills, both in Bangla and English
•     Proficiency in computer skills, especially MS Office
•     Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
