icddr,b invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Research Investigator with Research Group of Gender, Human Rights and Violence against Women under the Centre for Equity and Health Systems. The appointment will be made on a fixed-term basis for 1 year, which is renewable depending on performance and availability of funds.
Duty station – Dhaka.
Salary – Annual Tk.8,53,860/- inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances with other admissible benefits.

Job Profile
- Designing research and developing Research Tools;
- Planning and conducting statistical analysis including multi-level modeling, simultaneous equation modeling and factor analysis;
- Managing quantitative surveys, developing data cleaning routine and cleaning data;
- Conduct training on survey questionnaires, statistical software and statistical analysis;
- Work with PI in terms of report and paper writing;
- Coordinating and liaising with national and international partners;
Education and Relevant Experience:
- Masters in Statistics/Population Science/Demography/MPH from reputed institution;
- 03 years experience in relevant field.
- Good command of both English and Bangla with demonstrative ability to write, speak and translate;
- Ability to handle assignment independently;
- Strong sophisticated data analysis skills;
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, SPSS, STATA etc.
