JiVitA Project, a maternal and child health and nutrition research activity implemented by an INGO, Johns Hopkins University in Bangladesh, in Gaibandha and Rangpur districts The JiVitA project is seeking qualified applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the following position.
Psychological Evaluators
Qualifications:
- Female
- Masters Degree or higher in psychology/clinical psychology/sociology/child development
- Working experiences in child cognitive/motor development preferred
- Good communications skills in Bangla and English
- Must be willing to do field work in the project field site in Gaibandha for up to 2 years
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be self-motivated
- Ability to ride a motorcycle or willingness to learn desirable
Major responsibilities:
- Conduct daily tests of child intellectual, cognitive and motor functions, and conduct other tests and interviews related to child development.
The project will provide necessary training to the selected applicants. Salary is competitive and commensurate with relevant experience. JiVitA reserves the right to accept or reject any application. Only short listed qualified applicants will be screened and tested as part of the selection process.
