Our clients are leading independent power generation companies run by liquid fuel with whom we are obligated to maintain steady supply of liquid fuel by dedicated oil tankers under long term contracts, We are looking for General Manager (Technical) of the company experienced in management of sea-going and inland oil tankers with a long term career appointment and opportunity to advancement.


Position: General Manager (Technical)
Deadline: 15th September 2010

Educational background and experience:
Applicants should have a Marine Engineering Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Motor) with several years in the capacity of seagoing Chief Engineer, preference will be given to candidates having previous Superintendent experience.

Role and Responsibilities:
Providing technical instruction to company's vessel. Arranging the management on technical issues and supervising all technical staffs. Arranging vessels inspection visits by industry bodies or management staff. Liaising with Class and Flag State Control and maintaining all class and statutory surveys. Preparing repairs and dry-dock specification as and when required, writing detailed reports on the conditions of die company's vessels. Ensure proper management of spare parts and assisting vessel's budget control by controlling bunker quality and usage, fresh water consumption rate, etc.
