Monitoring & Reporting Officer Jobs at Save the Children


Child Resilient Project (CRP) is a three-year SIDA funded project to increase the capacity and skills of children & their care-givers and local community on disaster risk reduction, climate change and child protection in emergencies thus strengthen the resiliency of local communities in Dhaka, Khulna & Satkhira. CRP focuses to an integrated approach of DRR, CCA and CPiE so that the targeted stakeholders can take local level mitigation steps related to children’s risks associated with different disasters. CRP project though under the Emergency/DRR portfolio would work closely with Child Protection theme of Save the Children to standardize tools and procedures for child protection in local level risk reduction action plans. Its interventions address to build capacity of local structures (i.e. schools, family, community, union parishad/ward and LGIs) to improve child participation and protection at family, community and LGIs levels.

Position: Officer - Monitoring & Reporting

Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible to develop M&E framework and tools of the project, facilitate the direct implementation of project activities through local level implementing organizations, provide technical support at the field level in order to ensure quality implementation of the project interventions. S/he will also play a key role in triangulating the monitoring, narrative and financial reports of the partners and provide support to the Project Manager in developing reports, facilitate different sessions at national and local level trainings and events. The incumbent will be responsible to support the partners’ staff with the required expertise to build their capacity, keep all the project related documents, records and data ready to deliver as and when those need.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant subject, at least three years experience in M&E field in any renowned NGOs.
  • S/he should have sound knowledge on quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, ability to facilitate M&E related training, capacity of documentation and publishing reader friendly documents, good spoken and writing skills both in English & Bangla with the ability to produce quality analytical reports.
  • Proficiency in using of standard computer software for data management such as Excel, MS Access and SPSS and willingness to travel widely in project areas
