Territory Officer

This job is within a professional team in Marketing and makes a direct contribution to the business. Our individual of choice will be responsible to lead and implement Area Business plan and national marketing and promotion programmes (cycle based) in the territory with optimum use of resources to attain brand volume, segment share, brand distribution, merchandising and other specific cycle objectives. The incumbent will also execute trade engagement programs to build and maintain an effective working relationship with distributors, local public and private stakeholders to mange smooth business operation in the territory.

The key success factor for the incumbent will be the achievement of territory distribution, sales volume and display share targets.

Key Success Factors:
  • Implement Area Business plan and promotion programs 
  • Ensure Trade Marketing Coverage
  • Ensure optimum utilization of all company resources and marketing tools
  • Monitor and administration of trade promotion and discounting activities, Field Force evaluation, Merchandising & Contract Merchandiser record keeping
  • Ensure excellence in execution of cycle activities
  • Supervise and monitor Distributor Field Force and Contract Field Force
  • Develop, manage and guide Territory Sales Assistant and Distribution Field Force
  • Identify Merchandising & panorama opportunity and execute
  • Identify cluster for consumer engagement activities
  • Execute trade engagement programs
  • Coordinate Modern Trade outlets along with concerned line Manager and take lead in absence of Channel team’s coverage for modern trade

Key Requirements:
  • Graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, English from reputed public and private universities
  • Minimum CGPA of 3:00
