ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM (ACF) is a non-Governmental, non-political, neutral and non-profit international organisation (I.N.G.O.) that was created in France in 1979 to deliver aid in countries throughout the world. Since 2007, ACF has been providing assistance to vulnerable populations in Bangladesh in the medical, nutrition, mental health, food security, and water and sanitation fields.
ACF is looking for qualified candidate for the position of:
DEPUTY CMN MHCP– (NUTRITION DEPRTMENT)
Job Location

Dhaka (with field visits as and when required)
Number of position : 1
Duration of the contract : 12 month
Starting date: 01/03/2012
GENERAL ASSIGNMENT:
To assist in the coordination of the nutrition and mental health & care practices programmes with a specific focus on MHCP including the capacity building of nutrition staff concerning the integration of MHCP activities and the development/definition of a mental health and care practices strategy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical supervision/advice to the programmes under supervision of the CMN and initially in close collaboration with the International PM (MHCP) coach, ttechnically support provided by HQ MHCP advisor.
- Participate actively in project cycle related activities with focus on M&E, project proposal, and reporting
- Ensure the follow-up of the evolution of the situation as regards mental health and care practices and contribute to defining a programme strategy.
- Represent the organization when liaising with partners
- Emergency MHCP response
- Participate in the definition of SOP for emergency MHCP interventions in case of a major disaster
- Train national staff on potential emergency MHCP intervention
- Participate in or coach staff during emergency MHCP intervention
DEGREE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Clinical or Social Psychologist, with a good knowledge in care practices and child development.
Necessary experience:
- Strong Experience in clinical work (individual and group)
- Experience in capacity building and technical supervision
- Development program experience, ideally with focus on nutrition programs.
- Experience of dealing with authorities.
Necessary skills:
- Ability to work as a coach/trainer and technical supervisor
- Ability to design and carry out trainings and built the capacity of staff and partners.
- Good team player/motivator.
- Capacity to work as part of team and to delegate.
- Capacity to be flexible and creative to cope with field’s constraints.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- Monthly Salary : 85, 700
- Other benefits: As per ACF policy.
