Field Program Manager- Child Survival,Monitoring and Evaluation Officer-Child Survival:World Vision Bangladesh

Field Program Manager- Child Survival

The purpose of the position is to provide leadership and administrative management for a US government maternal and child grant in Bangladesh. This position will be responsible to guide community-based implementation of the project, including working directly with local partners, health facilities, and community structure. Responsibilities include leading a small team of local staff, consultants, and local community-based partners by providing overall vision, strategic direction, implementation planning and technical oversight, administration, and fiscal management. Position also includes representing World Vision at key health sector inter-agency, government and other partner meetings for coordination, information sharing, and dissemination of program activities and result and liaising with USAID, partner organizations, and the WV Regional and HQ offices for support in successful and effective implementation of the project. The position is based in Dhaka.

Candidates should be a MBBS with at least 5 years’ experience in managing primary health care programs, including familiarity with maternal, newborn and child survival interventions and leading multi-disciplinary teams. Candidates should have excellent communication, problem solving and teambuilding skills. Working knowledge of USAID grants and reporting procedures is preferable. Postgraduate in public health will be an added advantage. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel is essential.
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer-Child Survival

The M&E Officer has overall responsibility for providing coordination and leadership for monitoring and evaluation of a maternal and child health project. The M&E Officer will identify the core information needs of central project management, partners, and the funding agency and develop the overall framework for project M&E in accordance to the project and document M&E plan. This position will be responsible to support project operations research activities as well as support design and implementation of project assessments-including baseline, midterm and final evaluations. The position is based in Dhaka

Candidate should be a graduate with at least 5 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluating development programs, particularly community health programs, and working with management to integrate research findings into project direction. Skills and experience in monitoring and evaluation tools are required, (for example, KPC, LQAS, qualitative research).  Experience with maternal and child health programs will be particularly valuable. Candidates must be well versed in MS office software and database programs and fluent in both oral and written English with excellent technical writing and analytical skills required.
