- Network Planning and Optimization (NPO)
- NPO business line enables communications service providers to successfully launch and optimize secure end user services based on NSN and complementary 3rd party products.
- The NPO focuses in driving professional services in the following solution areas:
- Network Design (ND for Rollout, Modernization and In-Building)
- End-user Service Optimization and Assurance (SOA)
- Network Optimization and Assurance (NOA)
- Customized Performance Solutions (CPS)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform 2G/3G Radio Network Planning and Optimization tasks from customer entry strategy till service execution and care phase including customer presentation and customer consulting.
- Provide cost-optimized radio network design during pre-sales phase
- Deliver radio network design services for rollout, modernization and in-building projects
- Deliver radio optimization services to achieve committed KPIs
- Provide technical consultation to the bid teams, customer teams and customers
- Deliver customer presentations, workshops and reports
- Represent the radio planning team in projects
Educational Requirements: BSc in EEE, Telecom, CSc
Experience Requirements:
- At least 5 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
- Telecommunication Engineer
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Telecommunication
- Additional Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experiences in 2G/2.5G radio network design and optimization projects, preferably in Bangladesh
- Experience in 3G (WCMDA, HxPA) technology and corresponding radio network design and optimization projects a big plus
- Hands-on experience in one or more tools widely used for radio planning and optimization (eg., Aircom Enterprise, TEMPS, MapInfo)
- Experience with Nokia Siemens Networks` radio equipment preferred
- Strong presentation and technical consulting skills
- Solid problem solving skills
- Team leading experience a plus
- Fluent in Bangla and decent written/spoken English
- Able to accomplish the assignment independently
- Highly motivated and flexible to learn new skills
- Effective player in multi-cultural teams
- Practical and results oriented
- Able to travel locally and overseas occasionally
